Contact lenses offer flexibility and freedom, but only if they fit properly and match your unique vision needs. At Dr. Jenise Mancini, OD, we provide detailed contact lens exams and fittings to ensure optimal comfort, clarity, and long-term eye health.

Whether you're new to contact lenses or have worn them for years, Dr. Mancini takes the time to tailor your fitting to your lifestyle, eye shape, and prescription.

Why You Need a Separate Contact Lens Exam

A contact lens exam is different from a standard eye exam. It includes specialized measurements and evaluations to determine how lenses will interact with the surface of your eye and how they affect your tear film and corneal health.

During your contact lens exam, we’ll:

  • Evaluate your overall eye health and corneal shape
  • Assess tear film quality and lens compatibility
  • Test trial lenses for vision and comfort
  • Teach you how to insert, remove, and care for your lenses
  • Follow up to fine-tune your fit or switch lens brands/types if needed

Who Are Contact Lenses Right For?

We fit lenses for a wide range of patients and visual needs, including:

  • Nearsighted or farsighted prescriptions
  • Astigmatism (toric lens fittings)
  • Presbyopia (multifocal/bifocal lenses)
  • Occasional or full-time wearers
  • First-time users, teens, and adults

Dr. Mancini also offers support for patients who’ve struggled with contacts in the past due to discomfort or dryness.

A Contact Lens Fit That Works for You

We understand that contact lenses are not one-size-fits-all. Dr. Mancini will help you find the right brand, material, and wearing schedule based on your comfort, habits, and vision goals.

We offer fittings for:

  • Daily disposables
  • Monthly and bi-weekly lenses
  • Toric lenses for astigmatism
  • Multifocal lenses for reading and distance
  • Hybrid or specialty lenses (by referral if needed)

Clear Pricing & No Insurance Hassles

Our office operates on a fee-for-service model, meaning no surprise insurance limitations or rushed care. Contact lens fittings are billed separately from your routine exam, with pricing based on the complexity of your prescription and lens type. While we don’t bill insurance directly, we’re happy to file your paid visit on your behalf or provide detailed receipts for self-submission – keeping the process simple and hassle-free.
